We've tried to discover the significance of these lovely hand painted chairs, yet remain somewhat clueless. One hypothesis is that chairs have often been used to hold planters in homes, and they just needed to get nicer! A second opinion is that sometimes the Baby Jesus is seated on one so as to represent a throne. Whatever the use, we just couldn't pass on these any longer. The craftsmanship is lovely, the designs on each unique. Many colors to choose from, expect an assortment. Chairs may be placed on a surface or hung on a wall.
