A common sight along the streets of Mexico during the month of October....stalls filled with heaps of Cempazuchitil (the flower of the dead) being sold to decorate ofrendas and the cemeteries during the Day of the Dead celebrations.  A cute pup sits under the stall, a bone tightly clutched between its jaws. The base of the piece is decorated with the intricate brushstroke pattern typical of this region of Puebla. Colors used in each piece may vary.
